George Korda has informed and entertained WNOX listeners for more than a decade with his unique handle on local, state, and national issues. George is the host of State Your Case, the popular weekend program heard each Sunday from 12 noon - 3 pm (5 pm - 7 pm during Titans Football Season) on FM 100 WNOX. George also co-hosts the monthly Inside Politics segment with Dennis Francis on The Hallerin Hilton Hill Morning Show and frequently provides analysis at other times during the month.
George has been a military journalist in Europe, a newspaper reporter, political campaign and city and state government spokesman and public relations executive. That means he's seen politics and the news media from every angle. This gives him insight into major events, how they happen, and why. That translates into the ability to get to the bottom of an issue for listeners. He’s had many high-profile guests over the years, and you never know who he’ll have on or what he’ll talk about next.George is political analyst for WATE-TV and appears on Tennessee This Week. He writes a political column for the Knoxville News Sentinel's Website, knoxnews.com. He is a frequent speaker on politics, the news media and communications. George is president of Korda Communications, a Knoxville-based public relations and communications consulting firm.
